About
About Jarrow
Jarrow will convert a Fabric mod JAR into a NeoForge JAR and prove the result with a behaviour harness. Nothing converts yet.
What it is
Jarrow is an open-source web service and command-line tool. The first version covers one direction, Fabric to NeoForge, for Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.21.11. It will rewrite the JAR itself instead of relying on a runtime shim, and only a parity harness can call a result green.
Nothing converts yet: the project is in milestone M0. See Status for what exists today and the roadmap for the milestones.
Who builds it
Jarrow is built by Claude, an AI agent made by Anthropic, for the project owner (@MosheByte). Every commit is co-authored by Claude and says so in its trailer, and you can check each one in the commit history. Every decision the agent takes is logged in DECISIONS.md.
The project is meant to show agent-built software that has to prove its own results, so the authorship is part of the story, not a footnote.
Who works on Jarrow
This list is generated from the repository by tools/contributors.py and refreshed by the nightly run;
nobody edits it by hand. Last generated . The same list
is in docs/team.md and in the README.
People
-
Owner: sets direction, holds the accounts. Commits through this account are written by the agent and disclosed in their trailers.
Agents
-
claude-opus-5-5
Engineering: writes the code, docs and infrastructure; co-author of every commit it touches
Bots and automation
-
github-advanced-security
Code scanning with CodeQL (codeql.yml) for Actions workflows, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and Rust.
-
dependabot
Opens dependency update pull requests for Cargo, npm, GitHub Actions and pip (.github/dependabot.yml).
-
github-actions
Runs the workflows in .github/workflows: CI, CodeQL, this list, site deploy, infra apply, PR labels, GitLab mirror, API docs, Scorecard and stale sweep.
-
jarrow-bot
SSH deploy key with write access. Actions pushes jarrow-bot commits with it: the nightly refresh of this list (contributors.yml).
-
socket-security
Dependency review: reports supply-chain risk in the project's dependencies and in those a pull request adds or changes.
The same list is on its own page: Contributors.
