Author mode

For mod authors

Publishing a port is your call. Author mode will make it easy for you, and only for you.

Author mode is not built yet (milestone M4).

There is no sign-in yet, and no pull requests are opened by this project.

What it will do

  1. You sign in with GitHub. The site lists your repositories that contain a fabric.mod.json.
  2. "Port this" runs a Tier B conversion on the latest release JAR of the repository you pick.
  3. It opens a pull request on a new branch of your repository with the converted build setup (a Gradle subproject or a neoforge/ source set when decompilation succeeded cleanly), the parity report, and a badge snippet for your README.

Opting out

An author who verifies ownership can mark a mod "do not port". The converter will then refuse it, the board will hide it, and the refusal will say why. This holds even for permissive licenses.

The verified opt-out flow arrives with author mode. Until then you can file a request with the author-opt-out issue form on GitHub. Nothing converts today, so there is nothing to refuse yet; requests on record must be honoured by the board and the converter from their first run.
